Why driving a car on Polish roads is like riding a bike for the first time? Because, sooner or later, you are going to fall. Into what? – you might ask. Into one of the thousands of holes in our roads. Or your car may fall apart after a close encounter with one of the trucks. In fact, holes and trucks are connected – the majority of potholes are the work of these vehicles.

One – six – three – eight – four – zero. It is not a lucky lottery number but a relation proven by the scientists from Cambridge University: one truck destroys the road surface like 163 840 cars. About 400 people die in the accidents involving trucks every year. Children who live near busy roads, especially transit ways, are 6 times more vulnerable to cancer. Terrifying? And that is only the beginning of a long list of sins committed by trucks.
